Episode 162 - Arseteroids!
Apr 14, 2014
In this installant of our THRILLING SciFi adventure, space hero Ozoneocean is wooing the devastatingly attractive Omeleh, Princess of the Mushroom people, while the dashing Captain Banes warns of impending disaster! We asked people to contribute their own notions about what's cool and interesting in SciFi, as well as what they don't like and what they do not think works well. We had so many great contributions that we decided to split it into two parts and this is the second and final one!

Ah-ha! I thought you meant E R Edison and his epics... They were set on different planets, maybe Mars I think. The Worm Ourodboros etc. Great story... But definitely high fantasy.

Edison's Conquest of Mars is the story of Thomas Edison taking revenge for the Martian invasion from H.G.Wells' War of the Worlds. Human ingenuity conquering Mars. Most of the 1950's TV shows I cite can be found on YouTube. I picked on them by reading Starlog back in the late 1970s.
