Hanukkah has been, Winter Solstice is coming up, then Christmas, then Kwanzaa, then the best party of the year: New Years!!! Hooray! I want to believe that was the real guy! I questioned a Santa in a Mall and he threw a beer bottle at me. This dude in the interview...much nicer.

Incidentally, last Christmas I was attacked by a horde of beavers armed with hockey sticks, with nothing to defend myself with but back bacon.

Santa's art sounds amazing! I also love how the various names translate. The Germans are super literal like "You know. The Man. At Christmas. That guy." and the Russians are like "The asshole who makes it cold every year." Did anyone else grow up watching this more-than-slightly-creepy old film? Laughed out loud at the Bamboo Curtain Elves comment. Santa roleplay? I suppose it makes sense with all those buckles and his reindeer whip. I would not put Santa's lewd post holiday hobbies past him. Two years ago, I wanted to take a photo with Santa at the mall. He was pretty forceful in making me sit on his lap. Now I am traumatized! According to John Malkovich on SNL, in Portugal, Santa is called "Pai Natal" and if you do not give him a stick of butter, he will steal your toes. Instead of vegemite, Canadians slather themselves with maple syrup, get attacked by groundhogs, and fight a giant moose.
