Trick or Treat Pic #2 (Fusion and Empowered)
EssayBee on Oct. 23, 2012
Here's the second Fusion trick or treat pic, this time featuring a costume swap with my favorite comic character, Empowered. Empowered is a hilarious and surprisingly touching superhero parody comic by Adam Warren–and also one of the biggest influences on Fusion. I highly recommend giving the series a read.

Echoing tolrick's message: Sometimes it seems like I am the only one voting for Fusion. Phantom64: Keep in mind that Fusion is still a minor, albeit in high school. Do you really want that kind of thing here?

Phantom64--I'm flattered that you compare my writing style to that in Empowered, but Warren writes circles around me (look no further than the hilarity of the Caged Demonwolf's dialogue). As for fanservice ... Nope. No plans for further Fusion fanservice. (Four-chain alliteration combo! (Empowered joke there.))

Oh wow that's what it was! I knew there was something about Fusion's writing style that made me think of something else, I just didn't connect the dots to the fact it was Empowered, due to the lack of gratuitous fanservice until this Halloween series. XD I love Empowered, its a hilarious and witty read. So does this Halloween series mean Fusion will be taking a few steps into fanservice? Honestly, I feel that a comic can have good fanservice, if it finds the right balance of classy and sexy.

btw: I keep voting for Fusion with the TWC links, but she's still rated around 900-something. Maybe not the best place to push for this but c'mon folks, let's show our appreciation to our heroes. (Have to include Bob and Essaybee here, since the whole comic wouldn't be possible without them.)

As a great fan of your work and a great fan of Empowered, I highly approve of this crossover.

Mr Kaos--It's a running gag in Empowered. Her powers are tied to her suit, and when her suit rips, she loses her powers and is usually captured and tied up. (Did I mention that Empowered started out as a series of superhero bondage pics? Thankfully, it quickly evolved into a fun, character-driven parody with real love for its characters.)

fragile much eh?

Poor fusion. All she wants is to try something new :P

Tolrick--She appreciates your concern. Not to worry. Next week she'll have the opposite problem.

Savunn needs to swap costumes with someone who -won't- leave her feeling a bit drafty. She has my sympathies.

Awesome! Big Emp fan ;)
