Decades ago, Human scholar Geoffrey Thurgood and his wife, Lady Tixi of the Ayzdree, made history as the first cross-folk marriage in centuries. Now they make it again, as chance sweeps them up into the battle against a dark power that threatens both races, and possibly the entire world. Can a comfy old married couple, armed only with their wits, their good humor, and their deep devotion to each other, make a stand against an all-consuming evil?
"History" is a gentle poke at the traditional High/Epic Fantasy saga, featuring a little deconstruction, considerable humor, quite a bit of romance, and no map.
