Hey, folks! I go by DC and I have recently started a project called “Faeries and Homocide”. It, as a webcomic, will be mostly realistic, but seeing as is a portrayal of my thought as well as the events in my life, it will probably have a lot of dips into the surreal.
I sketch all of these out by hand then use a few different sets of inking pens depending on what I am trying to do, I then scan and touch up in the computer a bit.
I am new at this and suspect the art will develop as I go. My biggest challenge is getting a bit better at being able to redraw a character multiple times (it's kind of important yet is something I have always been terrible at).
