Drawing these pages, I ended up making Seiko more sarcastic and snarky in her expressions and her dialogue than was in the original script. Somehow it felt more in-character for her to deviate from the timid routine for this. Maybe Gibson is bringing out her candor. Or Cass is acting like such a ridiculous thug, she can’t take her seriously.

How does she know they aren't hiding the diaries in their puffy jackets? Maybe they don't want them to get soggy and ruined by the weather. xD
