Carter didn't have any next of kin, so he considered the Hardings his family, and his will reflects that. The script for this page was REALLY boring. It was a challenge figuring out how I could give it at least a little visual interest – avoiding big blocks of text and using only the faces/reactions necessary. This is what I came up with. I think it works.

(That's Caroline Harding on the right side of the table. I don't draw her often, and you might not remember her, but she is Ricky and Alex's little sister.)

ghostrunner: Some people would rather be neither – at least the “guest of honor” rarely gets emotional.

LanceDanger: Unfortunately, everyone has to deal with death from time to time. Both ladies have witnessed (from different angles *cough*) a few murders though, and that is not the normal human experience.

Peipei: Funerals probably bring the whole “guilt complex” to the surface for her. She hasn't lost many friends or family – but she has taken a few lives. -_-

dueeast: Seiko witnessed her parents' murder (sort of… She heard the shots and found the bodies) and the deaths of a gang of thugs who were trying to kill her. So funerals and talk of death bring up those memories for her. I don't think it has much to do with her own mortality.

amanda: Someone has to. ;-) Alex is one of the only people who know *why* Kaida has problems with death.

Tantz: True, but no reason to suspect it.
