I must say, a very well done job of invoking this. The implied -insta-move thing movie Ghosts do!! That shadowy hand... And Abby's being a true hero, when she could just cover her eyes and 'make it go away...'. If it was me I'd tell the girl to run away with me... Girl: "We can't outrun it!!" Me: "I don't have to be faster that it - I just have to be faster than you!!"

But if he's really a ghost he could walk right through you. Or if it is a ghostly scene being played out no intervention is possible the same way you can't intervene in a scary movie. The scene will play like a piece of film. But this is Abbie and she can break all the rules! Each fist is an unlicensed nuclear accelerator! Egon Spengler is an ex-boyfriend. She knows what she's doing.
