Hi - I finally made it back! It's just a single page, and I'll do another single for the next page, hopefully tomorrow.

Madame Davinia appeared in an animated episode of Typical Strange I did way back when. I always knew she'd be back, probably in a ghost story. And here she is! She's a lot of fun to draw.

The psychic is indeed uncanny. Uncanny at just how wrong she can be and TK still believes in her flim-flam.

@KimLuster - Mine was exactly the same - the only one he had remotely right was that I drove to work. With my car outside his window, I couldn't give him full points for that. XD

Haha, yes I'm super-incredulous with these types in RL. I had a friend that just totally believed these people - she convinced me to go to this 'card-reading fortune-teller' called 'Mama May'. Of course, being an uber-skeptic I gave her no cues to go off of and she kept stumbling over her words, giving cookie-predictions... I actually started feeling sorry for her, which she took as I was sad about something in my life... poor old lady!

...reminds me of the pilot for the ELVIRA sit com (truly! she did a sitcom pilot. It's on youtube and I wish that show had been picked up!). She was faking her way through a psychic reading, but minutes later was revealed to be an actual witch. Didn't quite track - but she's Elvira, so the show would have been great!

@Call Me Tom - Ah, yes! Her line from the animated "Typical Strange: The Beginning"! She's apparently a psychic who's fake when she needs to be and real when she needs to be! That photographic memory is impressive, man!

@tupapayon - For sure. When I went to that psychic, I deliberately did not give clues to who I am or what I'm about (not trying to trick him; I just wanted to see what would happen). It was truly pathetic the way he guessed/grasped at straws. Hm. This page is surprisingly cathartic actually! XD

@bravo - I exaggerated the cold read scam a bit for clarity/humor, but you're totally right. I went to a psychic a few years ago and it was so lame and fake, it pretty much killed my interest/belief in the whole thing. ....Except in fiction!

Alright I'm convinced - there's just no way she could know this stuff unless she could communicate with 'the other side' :) I like her - she's looks ridiculous, sexy (kinda), and a tad intimidating all at the same time!!
