Star Strip page 42

Jill is an Exo-Belt salesperson so she promotes her product. Last page was an extra page taking a look at my work area. here we get back to the story and begin the stripping. Here we have another first for a Bravo comic; lingerie! The gals are wearing bras, among other nice lacy underthings as Lon notices in the last panel of this page.
Originally there was dialogue in the first panel but I took it out. There's so much dialogue everywhere else that one panel without talking should be a welcome change.
Come on people tell everyone you know about this comic. I know it's the worst one I've done since Mask of the Aryans (which I feel was an awful mess that went on forever) but come on 11 likes? Jeez, it's bad enough Oz and Kawaii would have to die before this comic would be featured but can't we cook up a couple more likes?
Once upon a time my self-deprecation was cute and an on-going gag. After four completed comics and over 600 pages of content it's just a sad honest truth. All these comics are so much masturbation, just playing around without hope of recognition or the quality of the work overcoming the niche market. At this point it's boobs and bravo and nothing else. So I might as well keep up with the boobs. It was a threat on the last page of Go a Viking! and now it has becomes a curse.

The electro zap effect came out really well. I dunno what's up with the Likes. Personally, I've always made a habit of Liking pretty much every comic I click on, unless I absolutely hate it. I figure with the stats gone, it's the only way now for people to know their comics are being read at all!

Love the "neuro paralyser" ! A classic Trek-type piece of technology!

Love the electricity page. As for The Duck, there are soooooooo many people here posting their comics and only a few are looked at and read. We as a community really need to change that. I think Featured Comics and Awards and podcasts are a start but where are the community forums for artists to interact and get to know each other. That's the change we need. The only way to get your work seen is for the community to start being able to come together to support each other's work. If that doesn't happen we are all posting to an abyss. But just know, if you touch one other person...you are not masturbating. You are getting someone off. Nothing wrong with manogamy.

This comic is the most visually stunning you've done... But only 11 likes... Personally, I think people just don't click the 'like' button as much anymore. I thought for certain my number of 'likes' for The Godstrain would increase when I won the Readers Choice DD Award, but... not a one! I just know (hope) more have clicked my comic (perhaps read some of it) and thought it had some merit but just never clicked the 'like' button - that's what I'm going with anyway haha As for this page - (Robin Williams Genie Voice) "They fell for it!" haha
