Wet the Bed

I have no Idea how I found the time to do this. I will however not complain! I guess I need to let you all in on whats going on. Donna has Breast Cancer. She has had the lumpectomy and now we are preparing for Chemotherapy. After the Chemo we have six weeks of Radiation. We will probably be finished with treatment just before Christmas. As most of you know I live in rural Alaska so every session means jumping on an airplane and spending a few days in Anchorage. I need Magical Misfits I need my comments. I don't want you to think I am losing interest. The updates will continue as well as I am able but Donna must and always will come first. Thanks for understanding. Thanks for reading. And please if it is in your belief system pray for Donna.

I only recently discovered Magical Misfits, and have enjoyed it greatly. Your current situation touches me, as my wife was diagnosed 2 years ago, underwent lumpectomy, chemo, radiation. This past October we discovered it had metastasized to her liver. Prognosis - terminal. Now all we can do is wait. Whatever it takes, get Donna a full body PET scan. It's the only way to catch metastasis early. Sorry to put so much into my first posting. My prayers are with you.

My wife lost her aunt and her godmother to breast cancer. I've lost a few of my friends' moms as well. You will both be in my prayers. God bless you for sharing your talents with us all. I know that Donna is in God's care. - J

As always, we are here for you. Donna is in our prayers. You know, Wheels looks like I feel most mornings! Was it your intention to put Wheels in a red sleeping hat with a white pom on it? He really looks a lot like everybody's favorite gentleman that visits us around December. I hope you get an early Christmas gift this year by Donna's treatment going well.
