I hope this says it all. I'm having a difficult time being eloquent regarding this, as it's never happened for me before, but I hope I've put all my feelings out on it in as clear a way as possible.
Lancaster is now truly over, but most of the work has really only begun.
If you'll join us on Monday for the opening of the new site at lancaster-comic.com, we can get down to some brass tacks, most importantly, how you submit your entry for the Northcod Residential contest! You don't want to miss out on that now, do you? I thought not! :D

The ending of a well done story.
bagshotrow at 12:56AM, June 21, 2008
holy crap sad ending that came out of nowhere You know, it's not every day someone's main character just slowly dies of old age after living a full and productive life. Most people would be really tempted to have them killed in a meteor crash or saving the world or something. That's pretty cool. Cheers, Poinko, this was a hell of an accomplishment. Seriously.

I can't think of anything more to say than the simple gesture of bawling my eyes out. I'm going to miss this Lancaster series. It's kinda bittersweet this ending, but it makes a lot of sense too. Wait, I did say more. Oh well. ;) My only regret is that I never got to this sooner. Bravo Phil. Bravo.

Wow, you actually killed your character. What an unusual way of a Happy Ending... But it worked! =D Thanks a lot for all these years of drawing. Many of us would love to follow your example. :-)
seanzo at 5:48AM, June 20, 2008
Nice wrapup. I like the way you aged the characters. And I never noticed Lancaster was a southpaw! Are you a lefty, Phil? All the best artists are ;-)
