Chapter 3: Page 25

Sorry about the wait. I had trouble drawing this page for some reason. First the flowers kept messing me up and then those silhouettes. I finally just let them be rough and covered them with a speech bubble. Hehe.
So if you can't understand this page, Angela is behind a hospital curtain talking to someone when Marissa comes to visit. These pages will be emotional again. I hope I can draw sad Marissa better then I did the past few years. Also, panel 1 is the actual Hospital for Sick Children which I originally drew in pencil but it didn't scan right so… photoshop to the rescue.
Anyway, next page won't take as longI hope. I'm still on a role for now :)
See ya

They're special flowers. See next page :) Sarah, glad to hear I'm not the only one with curtain scene problems. Haha.

Nice to see the friends together again. I hope the flowers do make Angela better. The beauty of nature can be so theraputic.

I think flowers in bloom have a great effect on people period if they stop long enough to think about it. I love walking through gardens and parks in the summertime as they do have a wonderful tranquility about them, away from the hustle and noise of the streets, as well as being so lively with colour. Drawing figures behind opaque curtains is always hard. I once scrapped a shower scene because I wasn't happy with the way any of the pics looked. Great page as always and I'm sure your portrayal of extreme sadness will be as good as moving as it always has been in the past.
