Website Design 2004
VegaX on Feb. 23, 2022
The third version of the site, back in 2004, looked like this. A little more stylish overall, but still had all the comics as simple text links. Notice that there is no way to see recently updated comics or new comics unless they are in the top 30,
Back then comics in the Top30 were based on a 1-5 (or was it 1-10?) rating given out by readers, and the more perfect scores you had the higher up on the list you got. The whole thing was kind of flawed as comics would regularly cheat with their comic and troll other comics.
Read the newspost at the bottom of the image to witness one of many tragedies to befall the site.

dammmmmmmmmmmnnnnnn I didn't know about that error that deleted many accounts, that's tough!! but hey, that's programming by your own. I know you usually set up database backups to prevent this kind of meltdowns, but given the site size I don't think that's an easy (or cheap) thing to do either...
