hello all. I haven't died yet, nor given up on this comic. I'm just stuck in a rut. I never did find a full time teaching job but I have been approved to sub in one school district around my home. In the mean time, I have been learning how to make amigurumi. Amigurumi is a crochet plushie that most are collected for their cuteness and stem from Japan. I took my short level knowledge and created Ren as an amigurumi. This was my second doll but it turned out very well and I was very pleased. Please enjoy this picture of Ren in the 3-D world!!!!

So cute! You did a fantastic job. And don't fret! I'm sure you'll find a full time job. You could always be a personal tutor, like some families use to hire back in the day.
