Happy Friday, everybody.

Amy Hansen is proving to be a strong and resilient woman. Danielle is surprised that Amy is able to see past her true vampire nature, and see the woman Amy has called a friend. Their relationship will never be quite the same, but the two will still be dear friends. It remains to be seen how Lizzy will feel about her “Aunt Dani.”

Amy is an awesome person, really. And awesome persons do exist. It's just hard to believe until you meet them, and in some cases it takes like 150 years of the opposite until you do. I'm a little bit younger, you might say, but I think I know exactly how Dani feels in this moment. :D Btw. congrats on making the Top 10 again! I love seeing Danielle smile at us from up there.

Danielle Dark is back in DD's Top 10 again, way to go Jay! That being said, emotions are still running high between her and Amy right now, but I'm still worried about Lizzy.

Thanks! The initial shock Amy has endured is wearing off, but that doesn't mean second thoughts can't emerge. How Lizzy is coping will be addressed in the coming pages.

A few pages later, Danielle is still in that bedroom, still packing her stuff. Amy opens the door and asks, "Can we come in?" Dani replies, "I guess so." Lizzy runs in, jumps and hugs Dani around the neck, with Lizzy's head beside Dani's. Dani has to exert considerable strength to lift Elizabeth from around her neck and stand her on the ground. Lizzy: (Kind of softly) Please don't go. Dani: After that hug, I am glad I don't actually have to breathe.
