#178 Cereal Experiment Lane

More and more lately I've realized what a dated and overused ploy it is to have somebody try to steal cereal in a commercial. I'm sure the idea behind the tactic is to show that the cereal is both desirable and hard to get. If a rabbit or a cookie crook or the Soggies are trying to steal cereal, it must be GOOD! shouldn't you be whining to your parents to get some?

I suppose it's at least more entertaining that the cereal commercials where they show how stupid adults are because they can't figure out why kids like Apple Jacks or Cinnamon Toast Crunch .Here's a hint, it's not the cinnamon swirls, it's the SUGAR! And adults are fully aware of this! Ironically, it's the kids who don't actually know why they like the cereal. They're being tricked by a new marshmallow shape or a new Froot Loops color.
