One conception of this scene was to do it with nothing showing. But it owuld have ended up being close-ups and backsides and I think that is a cop-out. With the sepia tone it almost looks artistic and tasteful. Maybe even a drawing reference.

Or maybe one of those French postacards from World War One. 1914 “pornography” does look pretty tasteful and artistic these days. But then people were so innocent in Victorian days that a tasteful nude was shockingly pornographic. And then they looked upon the wall paintings in Pompeii… d**n!
