Cotton is a young, romantic, positive cuddlerope stranded to earth from the realm inhabited by naga. A war orphan who is now in a new world, making a life for herself and struggling to fit into office life, and sharing a workplace with her savior, Nick North, whom worked as the operative in monter counter forces during the war. After he had learned that demons used mind control to force other creatures to fight for them, he sought to liberate rather than destroy, and so he changed the course of war, and the life of our heroine!
