From as far back as I remember, I drew comics. I even did some before I could write. My Mom used to do the speech bubbles for me. Published an underground anthology during high school. Back before the Internet. Left the whole scene sometime around my early 20's, as I transitioned to more lucrative commercial art and advertising design. I even stopped collecting comics, as my job kept me frequently living out of a suitcase for extended periods of time. I joined DD in 2007 in support of a cousin of mine who was posting comics on the site. My first DD comic, Jhulene the Paladin, was actually a bunch of screen shots from a computer game I worked on. Towards the end of 2009, I was talking with an acquaintance of mine who recognized my long-suppressed love of the comic medium. She challenged me to do a comic. A real one, not just screen shots from a computer game. And, I'm posting the results on Drunk Duck. The early issues are kind of an eyesore to me now. But if you take the time to read my work (over 300 pages now!), I think you'll see a lot of growth and improvement. And, hopefully, and actually enjoyable story or two.
