I didn't do anything for the North American holiday of Halloween yesterday haha! But oh my goodness- there were actually decrations up and down my street and kids in costume doing trick or treating door to door, even 3 holder teenage girls in sexy police outfits O_O (ew, wait till your 20s for that). It's been picking up here for 10 years or so but that's the most I've ever seen it. I think it's social media that's the cause haha!

Since I was a kid, my mother used to do this: she cut the skin of a tangerine horizontally so that the two semispheres (up and down) remained intact, then removed the internal part. She then cut the upper half of the tangerine skin making the "eyes" and the "mouth", then placed a small candle in the bottom half of the skin and put the upper half over it, producing a "jack -o-lantern" thing, butr with a tangerine instead of a pumpkin. She did this before Halloween became popular in Italy, but now my sister had a kid and my mother is doing this for the nephew for Halloween. Is this Tangerine-o-lantern something common?
