“One is that Blessed Days will be completed on the 31st of October with only a few extra pages going up on the 1st of November. 8 chapters, 1261 pages, over a 100 characters and 6 awards grew out of something I originally didn't even intend to be more than some episodic slice-of-life jab at horror clichés. I feel like I've said everything I wanted with these characters. At least for the time being. So read the last pages for a real Blessed Days ending and prepare for a space opening up in that daily roll of updates. You'll get your goodbye in the comic.”

Blessed Days Synopsis

Robin Sinclair is as immature as one can be, so raising her part-demon child on her own might just be too much for her to handle! On top of the everyday mishaps of motherhood, she finds herself entangled in a dark web of lies and her life spirals out of control as the once quiet town becomes lively with the supernatural. A deadly game of cat and mouse beings, to prevent the Apocalypse (preferably before bedtime)! BD is mainly comedy and drama with a decent amount of mystery, but it mixes and features pretty much any genre it can. Adult jokes, occasional nudity, profanity and violence! Updates daily!

“The second one is that I'm developing a simple, but fun discord bot for the Duck's server. Some details and an illustration are already disclosed with the 24th of October, via my Thank You page in Niccea's Awards comic.”

“But in a nutshell: it is a community project, because the bot will allow members to play for digital character cards featuring artworks they themselves submitted about their characters. Anyone can participate in this if they have a comic hosted or mirrored on the Duck. The bot and its functions are of course free to use and eventually it could even help passively promote their works through a variety of discord servers. Hell, I'd like to think that one day we could get / buy our own physical decks of these if our treasured Duck admins ever find a way to make that happen in a fair way, so with that in mind: only participate if you'd be cool with that!

About the bot: at the very best it'll have functions which will allow you to not only get these character cards, but also trade them with each other! At the very least it will have plenty of other fun ways to utilize them. Perhaps as prizes to win for acing the quiz! (Yes, there will be a quiz game with random questions about the site and much of your comics!) It could take a few weeks or a few months, especially with hosting it on some server to keep it up and running, but it got the green light and it's going to happen! I will create a forum thread for updates about it, keep an eye on out for it!

So if you wanna be a part of it, send me 1 (preferably nice looking) ~730x730 image / original character you submit, the title of the main comic they appear in, the name you want to be credited by and one or two REALLY short sentences that describes the character the best! Again: as illustrated on the Thank You page. AND if you really want to save us some time, send a few fun facts about your comic or characters only attentive readers would know. If I don't reply I'm probably busy with life and work stuff, I probably will, eventuallly.

“Finally, as I mentioned during the Red Carpet Event, I am open to making banners using the winning trophy template for the volunteers this year to commemorate their participation. However, the caveat is they are only available by request, so get with me if you are interested in me making you one that you can proudly display on your user profile or comic.

My aim is to release the full awards credits on November 8th, but this date is flexible depending on how many extra pages are submitted.”
