I thought it was a fan trailer…it wasn't. ITS REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It gives of a Who Framed Roger Rabbit vibe, and it piques my interest.

That photo of the cgi Pikachu is creepy but cheap. Looks like a knock off stuffed animal you win throwing baseballs at milk bottles.

The writing looks worse than the CG and I still want to see it (probably not in the cinema, though). Morbid curiosity… It's hypnotically strange. Sideshow bad.

Also, Pokemon with fur are weird. They would look less weird if they looked more plastic (or maybe it's those bright cartoon colors turned to fur). They fell pretty far into the uncanny valley. Like they couldn't commit to making them look more like animals or more like cartoons.

I agree, bravo. They look like knock-off toys at the fair or street vendor.

After seeing Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, I just steer clear of movies based on video games.

I thought the trailer looked good and was funny! When it comes out on DVD we'll give it a shot. No local movie theater. Pika!
