Did we just lose our spot in the DD Top Ten?
That's annoying. What can we do to get that back?

That's because the top 10 is calculated on the basis of page views now. It used to be based on likes… and I also believe community projects were given some sort of bonus, so our eternal top 10 spot wasn't really fair to begin with ;)

Just going to hop in here like a weird interloper.
The Top Ten is calculated on the basis of page views now, whereas I used to update it manually based on “likes.” I believe ozoneocean is paying the programmer so that we can get a counter for uniques put in, and when that's done the Top Ten will be based on something like a four-day average of those. That would be the ideal system. For now it's more dynamic than it used to be, and at least marginally more accurate, probably? But obviously there are some issues with it.
But yeah, I'm sorry that HA has slipped out of the Top Ten in any case! :( Really the only way to get back up there is to get more people to read it.

At the moment we're somewhere around #53. :/
Yeah, I figured getting back up there was a matter of winning more eyeballs.
At this point we probably should just focus on getting caught up, but really it's all interlinked - a higher profile helps drum up more contributors, getting pages up faster and more consistently results in more page views etc.

Where did find our ranking number? That's interesting to look at.

#44 now.
There might be a better way but I just browsed the comics list. It's sorted by popularity and there are 25 comics per page. We're 19th down on page 2: 1x25+19=#44.
