I've just gotten permission from Wes_Nero to use Mr Imp in a script for a 3-4 page story I originally wrote for Chaos. It should serve as suitable filler while we wait for Neilsama to catch up with the main story pages.

What do I do with the script to get it cleared?

If it's deemed okay it'd be great to sign up some artists for it and churn it out pretty quickly ('cos filler :) ).

I'm happy to provide colours. I'll put you down for page 2 and I can do Page 1. I can do page 3 myself too, if noone else wants it, but I'd rather someone who can do it more justice tackles that one.

What we've done so far is either send it around via e-mail or share it with dropbox, mainly to not have the script leaked to readers and spoil their fun! But for a short story like this, spoilers may not be that much of a concern, so perhaps you can share it here if you like.

Feel free to sign me up for a page if there's one still going, irrev…consider it an attempt at returning the favour for the all the many times you've made my pages look dazzlin with colours.

I like the ending and see no reason why it should change. Let me wrap up my New Guard pages and then I'll get straight underway with this one!

My page two, panel two is taking a bit longer. The details is what I'm focusing on. I'm hoping to get it all done by. Next week Monday. I really want to finish this before this week ends. We will see.

Just wondering if this short - shorts r going to be published. If it is, is it going to be in between the 2 issues 9 and 10?

Abt_Nihil willing, it will definitely be published, it's just a matter of when. The original intent was that it would be a fill-in during issue #9 while Neilsama got caught up. It became less urgent when that fell through.

I still need to colour that brilliant second page you sent me. I've just sent a copy of it to Ironhand, too so his page #3 can be consistent with it. I'll get to colouring page 2 now but I don't know if all the pages will be finished in time for the end of HA #9 - that's only 2- 3 weeks away.

It would be nice to be able to upload this before the season finale starts; so either between the current chapter and Fandango, or between Fandango and the RISE short, or the RISE short and the season finale.

Okay, I'm frantically colouring away at Page #2 (CDMalcolm has exceeded himself with the vast amount of detail in it so it's taking a while!). Turns out I hadalready sent CD's page to Ironhand for reference back in July, so that's in his corner. He seems to be a bit AWOL/snowed under right now though, so I'm happy (if intimidated!) to take on the last page if he's too flat out to do it.

It would be cool if we could build up a little buffer of these short stories too so we have something to drop in if there are delays with the main title. Also filler pieces like CDMalcolm's Anime poster, etc.

Yep, sorry to only just come at you with this - I've been insanely busy at the minute so haven't had the chance to get any further than sketches for this page. If someone would like to take the page, they can.

No prob, I'll take over page #3. It's intimidating as hell having to follow up CD's page though, 'cos wow! o_O

Urk, good question. I've done the flats on page 2 and emailed them to CD to see if he was happy with the colour choices. I think it'll be a lot less imposing to shade than it was to colour because a lot of the detail is too fine to require shading.

I'll rough out page 3 this evening and see if I can get a feel for how long it will take. EDIT: I've done a rough outline. It doesn't seem like it'll take too long.

How long did you plan to spend on Halloween filler? I can probably get it finished in a couple of weeks, cross-fingers.

There was also a bit of a miscommunication and both CD and I did cover pages. His is, of course, far better and the official one, but mine can be included as a bonus if we want to pad things out.

I don't actually have any filler to post right now. If I don't get anything by next week I'll start posting what I have – which is Fandango.

Page 1 = the cover page. Sorry for any confusion. I dropped my version of it into the Dropbox in case that's of use to you. (It still credits Ironhand but that fell through and I ended up doing Page 3…)
