you know why birds don't write their memoirs? because birds don't lead epic lives, that's why. who'd want to read what a bird does? nobody. that's who.

Slackman= Brilliant page layouts, good art, poor characterisation, terrible plotting.

I feel that the comic's art make sup for all of it's plot holes. I am able to admire each page as a beauty, even when the story is just passable.

I found myself frustrated trying to get what was going on.
I couldn't understand why the torturers kept not believing what slackman told them, but then believed other things that were even more ridiculous (him foiling a robbery was too silly to believe but they believed him fighting a gigantic version of his chicken necked boss?)

I can defintely appreciate what you're saying there Hark… Writing for me is something new and a huge learning curve. I suppose what I'm try to do is gradually expose parts of the plot and reveal certain characters slowly… Obviously this is a bit more miss than hit at the moment but I'll work harder to bring a few of these elements together. After the current story arc I had planned on Making a 5 or 6 page mini comic called ‘Wooderson City Stories’ which will take a closer look at the city itself, as well as the main antagonists.
Thank's for the kind words about the art… what can I say, I love to draw!

I'm having a go at the plot for not having enouhg planning, but I think the planning of the individual pages is top notch. Some of the layouts and designs are tremendously clever.
Some comics I get to review are just awful, other ones, like this, are flawed in somke areas but havea lot of merit in others.
I'm glad to hear you are taking the addvice to heart. That makes me feel a lot more optimistic about your comics future.
