About:
This thread contains 100 or so links to valuable information on Art/Comic making.
Some links may contain nudity, And may not be suitable for those under 18 years of age! Be advised! It is mainly Tasteful nudity, and the purpose of the thread is to be worksafe so-I will remove any links to sites the mods/admins/users deem to risky.
The links are great and I urge you to check them out. More are listed at http://shii.org/2ch/art.html(Read red text below!!) and I will continually be adding my own useful links and tips to this thread as time goes on. The overchan shii.org may contain 18+ content so minors don't venture outside the part where I linked!!! >:c Also the project wonderful ads on that site can be kinda gross-Be warned!!!)
Seriously I don't want to get in trouble..^^ Only help artists here~~

1. Study the following first;
-Anatomy(muscle structure, bone structure, construction of objects)
-Perspective(viewing angle, 1, 2 and 3 point perspectives)
-Composition(placement of objects, focal points, viewing angle, overall feel)
2. Study the following next;
-Contrast(emphasizing of opposites colors to create depth)
-Light/Shadow(how light creates shadows and highlights)
-Color Value(mood, atmosphere, how they affect a picture)
3. Study the following LAST;
-Creativity(concepts and imagination)
-Style(proper exaggeration of the above basics of art)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
End Note:
I've had these links/sites/contributed too for quite a while now- But was nervous to share because of the content of some: Even I haven't gotten through ALL of them!
If one of the links contains something you think is waaaaay to risky-Please PQ or post in the thread and I will remove it! Mods/Admins feel fit to remove too-(Don't ban meeee plz-! ;-; I only wish to help!)
Skullbie's Notes:
-You will learn 10x more on anatomy from studying artistic nudes than people in clothing.
-Just because the ads on the sites are gross/porn doesn't mean the site is-they just need some extra cash ^^
-As you can see from comments in the post I take the 18+ warning quite seriously, Please respect the disclaimers.
-I made this thread because I want artists here to learn and grow as fast as I am- I hope those of you that came to this thread or the Overchan have learned at least one thing! :) I plan to add more to this thread as time goes on! But you can help as well::
If you have a link/tip to submit please post in the thread or pq! Your name will be added as credit next to it. Make sure the links have high quality content!
(I reserve the right not to add your link or tip-But that usually wont happen)
If you have praise/suggestions/complaints or otherwise also pq me or post them in the thread.
What links this thread currently needs: Links on comic tutorials!!
Links were taken from the Overchan and submitted by Anonymous, /ic/, Users of DD, and Myself. If you are 18+ please click ‘help us’ on shii.org^^

You should definitely add more facial expressions help.
Facial expressions make the comic more awesome.
Alas, I have no link to one. Never need one. :P
But, if I might make a suggestion; there are a few helpful tutorials in DD's tutorials section. You could link to some. :D
Nice post, Skull. Likely to get stickied.

Whoa! o.O Nice link-repository. This is really, really useful.
I scanned through your list, but couldn't see http://www.posemaniacs.com anywhere - and I've found that really useful.
Also, I didn't see much in the way of landscape/background reference, so I thought I'd dump mine here. They're mostly decayed/broken down buildings and machinery, because I'm kind of odd like that, but I've found them to be occasionally very useful, and some of the photographs are nothing short of gorgeous. Mind, they're Livejournal communities, so finding what you want is a matter of browsing extensively:
Urban decay
Rural ruin
Rundown town
Deathly decayed (cemeteries/gravestones)
Dead machinery (no houses, but truckloads of old, rusty machines - quite a few old cars and military equipment as well.)
Abandoned places

@mattandcow
You can use photoshop tutorials ;) The only reason i didn't put them up there is because gimp tutorials are lacking in quality usually…even though i use gimp myself. lol!
@Crocty
Thanks for the suggestions! Yeah a sticky would be cool.

OK, I dedicated myself to look through some tutorials that you could post…
(Maybe put the DD tutorials under a new section?)
Ozone's drawing-type tutorial
Silentkitty's rain effect tutorial
Winterman's inking tutorial
Fishfry's word balloon tutorial
Enkinda's word balloon tutorial
Luminous' line art tutorial
Enkinda's homepage HTML tutorial part one part two (HTML problems should probably go in Coding and templates, but, why not?)
Glenfx's inking tutorial
Enkinda's comic page HTML tutorial
Finalfantasyfreak_07's lineart, and I believe colouring tutorial
Cartoonproffesor's movement tutorial
iowabarbiedoll's inking tutorial
Mutation's magic effects tutorial
Kingv's water drawing tutorial
Ronson's word balloon tutorial
heymelby's video tutorial of how one of his comic's is made
Deviant Lnyx's inking tutorial
Mister spook's tutorial on how to prepare lineart for inking
Whew…Also, I mostly skimmed through these, so…If some of them aren't that helpful, I apologise.
I'll probably make a tutorial one time come to think of it…
Well anyway, there they are.

(Skull note: Remember never use anything to computerized for speech)
To elaborate on this, get a font that is sans serif. The serif is the ‘tail’ that appears on the ends of letters that give it a calligraphy effect. Comic book dialog is supposed to look organic so serif fonts are best reserved for letters, typewriters, and computers.

Here's a great tutorial on creating speed lines that I found to be especially useful:

ImagineFX has some pretty nice tutorials.
It's a magazine from the UK and it costs around $100 to get a 12 month subscription here in the US. I'd say it's worth the penny. I'd wish they had something similar here so it wouldn't cost so much.
I decided to scan some of their tuts and post them here.

If it's cool to toss in another suggestion:
I found a great “How to draw figures” tutorial on Comic Tools recently:
“This week is only part one in a multi-part anatomy lesson tailored specifically for the cartoonist, who may not want, need, or be able to invest their time in studying all the complexities of anatomy, but who would like to at least be able to understand the basics of the figure.”

^ That's an interesting way of looking at the basics of the human figure. I'm going to have to try that out.
