What drink is your "vice"?

I guess I'll celebrate DD's return from Downtime by posting this thread. Just like it says, it's about a drink you can't do without within the day. Your FAVORITE drink, that is. Some people have beer as their vice, others have EverClear, and still others prefer normal clear water. I have yet of anyone preferring to drink sewer water though…

As I've often said, it's coffee for me. Percolated, instant, or bought from a barrister I can't get enough of the bean juice. It's more the flavor than anything else. Coffee is normally bitter and I cringe when I see someone adding half a cup of sugar to their coffee.

Ultra-pure oxygenated water, or sports drinks are what I drink the most of.
I'm trying to quit drinking energy drinks (for my health) though its all I'd eat or drink for a while there.

For my true “vice” drink I like Amaretto or Goldschlager.

Iced tea! When I need to be more awake for classes I drink this instead of coffee.

I have to agree with Joel here, water is just so good. It quenches thirst unlike a lot of other drinks (energy drinks) and it makes my skin nice and soft.

Meez tooz, I think it's safe to say that alcohol and mixers aside, water is about 98% of what I drink.

Whenever I get the craving for something other than water or booze, it's usually chocolate milk (or hot chocolate, mmmm.. tell me THAT doesn't hit the spot on a cold evening), hot tea, pomegranate juice… that's more or less about it.
you know why birds don't write their memoirs? because birds don't lead epic lives, that's why. who'd want to read what a bird does? nobody. that's who.

Tea, preferably green with no further modifications.

I really like drinks from concentrate, for whatever reason. My favourites are limeade, pink lemonade and Welsh's Grape Juice.
I'm also a big fan of all sorts of different kinds of tea.

As to vice, Rose Champagne (it tastes like cherry sprite only better) and Woodchuck Amber Cider.

But my favorite drink that I want at all time that I would do anything to have wherever I go is…Dr. Pepper.

Alcoholic drink fave for me is Mead. Spiced or honey. Love it. It's nice stuff. :)

Non-alch
Fave flavoured drink:
-Chinnotto (spelling?). I've been drinking that for years. Delicious stuff.

Fave all round drink:
-Normal tap water. With all the fluoride and minerals from rusty old pipes, the chlorine and all the rest.

Fave fruit drink and all time fave:
-Apricot nectar. This is simply heaven. Gods would drink it, but only the best stuff that you usually get in tins… Bottles of it are a bit fake with too much extra sugar etc.

As for HOT drinks… I love both coffee and tea pretty much equally, but would never have coffee with my breakfast, only during the day.

Mountain Dew.

I miss having mead, good stuff but wheat is the staff of life. Bread is fine, but God intended it for a higher purpose. Let us discuss beer!

Coca-Cola.

Pretty much thanks to my dad. He don't like any juice besides orange, and since where I live we don't drink water with our meals, he always buyed a Coke.

Peach Ice Tea. I like my Virgin Coke and Pepsi Max, but that drink is something I'll drink even if it happened to contain ground up babies in it's ingredients. That would also explain why it is so damn good.

Regular Relentless is a problem, though. I drank it a lot when I was really suffering with my B12 deficiency at college and if it wasn't for the fact the college had it in stock the whole year would've ended worse than it had already. I would've done NOTHING.

It gives you a kick every time you down it. As subtle as a real kick to the chest.

I've not had it in months, but I can still taste it whenever I think about it.

I don't need it anymore, thankfully. Getting stabbed in the arm every three months seems to be doing me just fine.

I thought this was going to be a booze question…

In that case, it's tea. Good old fashioned British tea…with milk and sugar.

For booze it's Jack and Coke…yummy and “Mommy make it all stop…I promise not to drink this much again and I mean it this time!!!!” all at once.

Is that the cheap stuff in the big can? Because that's pretty good.

I drink almost exclusively water. A lot of it too. My real “vice” would be that when I live or visit any place with well water or weird tasting tap water, I drink only bottled stuff. I'm not picky about the brand, but I used to be.

When I have extra money, I like to treat myself to Welches Grape Juice ( “juice” not “drink” or “cocktail” ). If I haven't slept in a while and get really drowsy or if I get a headache, a can of Coke fixes me up.

I don't drink alcohol. It's not a moral thing or a health thing. I just can't stand the flavor.

Same here. I like wine with certain food (you can't beat Argentinian red wine with a nice rare steak), but overall, I found the bare smell of alcohol kinda revolting…

Sissies. I've had screwdrivers, boilermakers, tequila slammers, and Long Island iced teas, but I'd say the worst I've had was something called a “dirty diaper” (tequila in a shot glass coated in mayonnaise).

for a while my diet consisted pretty heavily of Whiskey. all kinds of whiskey. reason being was becuase when the restaurant i was working at finally shut down they didnt have any money to pay us so we divided the things laying around the restaurant among ourselves and i got out with alotta booze. i posted a pic of it before if you guys'll recall, this one:

anyways i'd given a few bottles away. and since most of my friends were either far away or didnt exist, i was left to drink most of it myself and most of what i had left was whiskey so we got REALLY well aquainted. i havent touched it in a while though.now like most of you guys i try to drink alot of water and of corse some pop and beer in theretrying to cut down from those fuckin energy drinks though. those thigs'll fuckin kill ya.

I drink cranberry juice a lot. I'd bet a majority of my body weight is that stuff.

I rarely drink alcohol. Not because of any moral or health reasons, but because I only drink at a party and I rarely go to parties. When I do drink though, it's always something stronger than malt liquor, usually mixed drinks.

Alcoholic beverages would have to be a cuba libre or straight shots of jagermeister

non-alcoholic would have to be milk I can't explain it but I go through like three gallons of milk a week.
