How do you pronounce your alias properly.
People with obvious ones like “I am the ‘leet’ master” can come here too but I thought this could be fun for the people who don't have as obvious ones.
My mistakes so far:
Jean-joke
(possibly Niccea, Rokulily, and Hark)…

Either Churn-oh-bog or Shern-a-bog, but I'm not hung up on the pronunciation in any event. In my book, if it sounds guttural you're doing it right.

“You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process,” he added. “That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle.”

My handle is easy to pronounce. However, it seems to get misspelled a lot. I am not the Spider-Man villain.

But I'd like to know how many people know how to pronounce my character “Tadhg”'s name without looking it up. I've had some interesting guesses over the years. : B

I was amused to hear Skoolmunkee and Ozone stumbling over mine on the QuackCast recently. For future reference, I pronounce it “Daj” with a silent “b”.
You know … like “lamb” or “comb”!

GenejokeYou're not alone. But as SM and OZ found in the QuackCast, you can then trip yourself up trying to remember which order the initials are supposed to be in!
I always thought of it a D.A.J.B. as in dee-ay-jay-bee
When you don't have it in front of you, “Daj” is a lot easier to remember. And shorter. Monosyllables are cool!

Rom Lom-ma. Nowadays I base my handle on my given name, which can commonly be lengthened to Rama Lama, or Ramachandra Lama. I'm told the name is very popular in India. Which doesn't explain why a pasty white lady from a Protestant backround chose it for her son. But whatchagonna do, right? I've discovered that almost everyone that I meet remembers it, so its pretty good for marketing.

My name derived from “a yes in back”, which was my response to a particular situation
When I say it, I mash it together “ah yez-iback”
But since the name's been frequently abbreviated to ayes (which I find to be an improvement — plural positive) I'm guessing everyone thinks eyes-in-back, which is fine

Gosh, turns out I've been pronouncing a lot of names wrong.
DAJB, I had wrong.
Abt_NiHil, I was pronouncing About Nil.
And Hunchdebunch… you don't even want to know how badly I messed up Hunchdebunch.
I'm actually surprised though that I got ayesinback right.
I suppose I don't need to explain BffSatan to anyone. Right?

NicceaIn Italian i think you'd pronounce that “Ni-CHee-a”
Neh-sea-ah
I made up the name, so I reserve the right to pronounce it as I see fit regardless of the proper sounds the letters make.
People often just call me “Oz”, or “ozone”, both of which are great :)
“Ocean” is a little weirder, and “OceanOzone” has me scratching my head a little, but neither is bad.
“OO” however takes me a while to grasp the meaning. Two “O”s look like eyes or boobs something rather than two letters so it's not always an obvious initial.
Peoeple all pronounce my nick right, but due to region accents it can sound unexpected and entertaining. I used to love the way Black-Kitty would say it 'OH-sone“, and Creepy-Carly says ”OH-Zone“
The Australian way to say ”Oz“ is ”oZ“ whereas the American way seems to be more emphasis on the ”O“ to make it almost ”Orrz“ or ”AWz".
