Michael Turner founder of Aspen comics and creator of Fathom died on Friday night from a long battle with cancer. He was only 37.
This is a tragic loss, the guy was an incredible talent. and way too young to be taken away.
My condolences to his family and friends.

I was never a huge fan of those comics, but to go at such an age and to go in the middle of a fight with cancer is just terrible. I wish his family the best. It's pretty sad news, and I'm sorry to hear him go so early.

I
I have a gun. It's really powerful. Especially against living things.

Yeah. I've been struggling with this since Saturday when I heard about it. He was my favorite artist and I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. I went to Wizard World Philly in 2006 and 2007 and stood in line for his autographs multiple times each year. This was a guy who never let his illness dominate or define who he was. He was always so upbeat and so happy to have all these fans standing in line for his autograph. He truly lived every second of his life. I didn't even know he was sick again. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
