An earth-shatter kaboom (or something very close to it) thundered through the old hulk of the dead star-ship.
“Hi, I'm Bob! Tonight I'm frying some bacon!”

Under normal circumstances that would be a bit of a dangerous claim to make, since not only would he be pissing off the real quartermaster, but also the real intelligence guy and the real ally of the quartermaster, if the intelligence guy isn't allied to the intelligence guy, that is. Telling up to 3 people that you're a criminal is too big of a risk. One of them would be bound to let us know that Reaver was lying.

“We are here for the execution, SIR!” Peo ple's Lieutenant (LLG)A Reaver managed to get out without a trace of sarcasm.
“Which one?”
“BOTH!” Roared the assembled mob of troops.
“Alrighty then!”
Salsa pulled out his pistol and chambered a round.
“Any last words?”
“READ HARKOVAST!”
“OCHI! I BLAME YOU! Not for any particular reason, you're just my rival.”
“It's okay! I blame you too,” said Ochi
“All right enough chit chat!” Salsa squeezed the trigger twice in rapid succession.
