Inspired by a movie which I can't remember the title of, a guy suddenly has the power to literally hear the thoughts of the women around him. If you suddenly had this power, how would you use it?

I would try to ignore it, or find a way to get rid of it. It takes the fun out of trying to figure out women. :)

I know the movie it's…I can't remember either. It's a stupid chick flick involves a guy who works in an office…just asked my sister and she said it's “What Women Want” has some funny scenes actually.

I don't imagine the average guy's thoughts are very interesting. Most people's day to day thoughts are probably pretty similar. Unless it was a guy I was interested in or something, that power would probably be more annoying than anything else.

I think that would probably be the worst power ever personally. You're either going to be bombarded by the daily chores and daydreams of millions of women or be exposed to severe truths you never wanted to know about your coworkers and members of the female gender close to you.

I wouldn't want to hear anyone's thoughts. I have enough trouble concentrating with my own thoughts yelling at me. Besides, I am always afraid of what people think of me. I don't want to know, men or women.

If I found myself with this power, I would don my tinfoil hat.

I can imagine all the embarrassing situations you can find yourself in when you have the power to “hear” all the thoughts of the opposite sex, and almost no way to turn it off…

Imagine the embarassment when you realize she's been looking at certain parts of you for over an hour, rating them by size, firmness (from what she can see), and then finding out that despite you believing in your “manliness” she gives you a horribly low rating…

So what about in reverse. You judge her just as critically. She can hear your thoughts and she slaps you. Yet had it gone how you planned it, according to the effed up rules of society, NOTHING. Except if you were an a-hole.

What about hearing what our politicians (and various non-elected people who have power) are thinking?!?

Its good if we all had that ability. That would mean more honesty and less corruption. And in the end, a better world to live in.
