Happy Friday, everybody.

The fighting is over, but now the reality of what has happened is sinking in. Amy is now aware of Danielle’s true nature, Lizzy has seen things no child should see, and Danielle is faced with losing the friendship of people she holds dear.

Amy is clearly suffering from worldview-shattering information overflow combined with and equally devastating hurricane of conflicting emotions. Poor girls, all three of them. Danielle at least is somewhat more used to downers like this - as far as it's possible to get used to them - and what she says strikes me as the best she could possibly say at this point to defuse this whole messed-up situation. Just one bit of threatening-looking body language would have ended badly. Let's just be glad Dani's back in control of herself - for now. Yes, things have taken a dark turn indeed, and it may well take burning up more than one psychologist to set things halfway right.

This whole ordeal has been nearly as traumatic for Danielle as her turning and her husband's murder. Her true nature, and the world of which she is a part, has dealt a horrific blow to two people who have treated her like family. Whether psychologists, or supernatural practitioners will be able to help them is yet to be seen. Perhaps Talia will turn to her friend, Gundula, for advice.

Amy: Wait. So, this whole time I've known you, have you been like this and just hiding it? Or did this thing, this change, happen recently? Dani: I'm well over a hundred years old. I've been a vampire since just before the Louisiana Purchase, so yeah, all the time you've known me. Amy: Lizzy said you would not harm us, and you still haven't. You have been my friend, but hiding a lie? Are we able to still ... trust each other? Dani: That is up to you; I haven't changed, now you just know more about me. Amy: So what do we do now? [ Looking around ] What do we do with all the bodies? Do we call the cops? Do we just wait for them to all evaporate? Dani: We will have to call them eventually, but we need to wait a bit, at least until those bodies are gone. That man is missing about half his blood, so I will have to figure out where it could have gone that would make sense to the police.

Right, not canon. If that is true, he'd be dead. But unless vampires have some magical way of enhancing blood flow, draining blood takes time. Just donated a unit, took what, 15 minutes? About 70 minutes from my door to my door.

How can any of us have a great weekend after Lizzy has probably been scarred for life and no amount of psychological counselling can probably ever help her overcome such trauma?

J_Scarbrough: All of your concerns are valid. Lizzy was staring directly at Dani the whole time the demon held a gun to her head. All this will be dealt with in future pages, probably in the new year.

You are a good man, but I know some very bad things. Dr. Fisher: That's why you are here, so we can work through those bad things together. So, what should we talk about first?
