To end it on a lighter note, a lot of the jokes are pretty cool and I like the small changes e.g. The mouth from the unnamed woman last comic/couple of comics ago.
So in conclusion Good material, bad presentation.
Also one other program you can use besides Paint (although I use paint) is paint.net . This is quite a bit like photoshop so that might help, although you will need practice in using it before making a proper comic, because I can't use it well yet. Another program which I think is a bit worse than paint.net is GIMP. Just giving you some options.
Firstly, backgrounds. Yes you've found a background site, but make sure the sprites fit with the background. For example don't use 8-bit megaman in a Golden axe background (look them up if you don't know about them)
Secondly, Resizing. Make sure you highlight the selection and right click and press 'Stretch and skew'. Then only use it in increments of 100% or 50%. Don't do it manually, it just makes things look weird.
Finally speech bubbles. Sure you don't care about them (comment from last comic) but they are important. Personally, I prefer the rounded bubbles using the rounded rectangle tool, but you can use boxes like now. Just try and make a border around them and make sure text doesn't hit the sides.
Well, unfortunatly for you I'm not quite as nice with my comments for improvement. Honestly, there's no reason to be nice because one of the reasons why you put this stuff on a website is to get feedback. So sorry about this OK?
