Carter is/was an obscure character, but Seiko and Kaida met him when they visited the Harding household to unravel the mystery of Ricky's illness. He was a nice guy, and writing this chapter was kind of a downer for me – but the story must go on.

Btw, the sixth panel is a bit of an “in joke” with Ricky. If you haven't read through the archives, don't attempt to interpret it. ;-)

LanceDanger: When I actually find time to read, I usually choose murder mysteries. I never read Tolkien until it was required for a literature class. The trick is to sign up for interesting classes – like “Fantasy Literature.” ;-)

ghostrunner: I don't think we have that one in stock…

Peipei: It's just the hairstyle. In b&w, a blonde ponytail looks like a silver one. My hairstyles are sort of limited/repetitive… (Ronnie has a ponytail too, and Tristan does at times. But all of them have different bangs/hairlines.)

amanda: The Source isn't bad. A friend gave me a copy. It is nearly 1100 pages long, though. I got bored around the Crusades and never finished it.

n_y_japlander: It's amazing the lines some people can get away with. XD Good thing he has some charm, and Kaida really isn't in top condition right now. She's been sulking, and she knows she looks haggard.

trevor: She doesn't usually take them off around other people. They are good for hiding emotion (and identity – since she has likely made a few enemies).

JustNoPoint: Lol. He said he would come back… but he also told Seiko he was in a sword fight, so there's no telling how truthful he is. ^_~
