@bravo - Thanks bravo! I had a whole story figured out for the little girl, where she lived in a sort of farmhouse and was being tormented by this man/creature/whatever called Long Tim, who wanted to take her away. Nobody was there to believe or help the girl. In her dreams it was the worst, and that's where she encountered Abigail. The farmhouse was probably where the Movie Pit is now, and the girl was saved by Abby and grew up, having great success in career and family...and then saw the store and woman she dreamt of while on a road trip with her grandkids. But I didn't want to include all that in the actual story; what matters and hopefully comes across is that she was neither killed or violated by Long Tim. As for who or what Long Tim is, that's anybody's guess! Thanks brav!

@kawaiidaigakusei - thanks kawaii! That's true; it's been a quarter-year since this Halloween story started. But the timeline on this one? That could be a puzzle. The chapter began with a reality show telling the story, so some time must have passed...not to mention the little girl's POV, which must have encompassed decades...oy...not sure this is unravelable. XDDD

This would have been a perfect "one Step Beyond" episode. Excellent story. In fact grandpa could pass for John Newland. For time slips location is everything not what is built on the location. It could have been a creepy house fifty years ago. But then 50 years ago was only the 1960's and it could have been a record store.

Ah this makes so much sense to me now! So it appears as though Abigail was having a paranormal experience from the past, which ultimately saved the life of the grandma, who is alive in the future. Time slip paranormal experience. That is spooky, but bitter sweet!
