Here's page 17 of Fusion #6, and Dandy-Lion gives a more significant motive for Edward Lord to help the Darmarian government. For those wondering where Dandy-Lion had that chunk of Drainomyte, the furry parts of his outfit are riddled with secret pockets and compartments. They're heavily lined and padded, so it makes it hard to find things on him if he's patted down and also keeps things secure when he's jumping around.

well it would seem his actions have said much more than his words did. the fact that there are more than the one robot, and that it is pretty much a crude prototype is fairly obvious, at least if you suspect someone able to create super powered clones in secret. the knowledge of the quantity of drainomyte, and that it comes from a new source is roughly the only real answers they got. i am sure brooder already suspected as much though, any decent detective would have looked into mysterious shipments and workshops of anyone capable of making the robot (not even counting the fact the lord's industries is already on his shit list).

SoItBegins--See page 7 of Issue #4 for a brief description (http://www.drunkduck.com/Essay_Bee_Comics_Presents_Fusion/5270767/). Fusion's comment about the "genetically enhanced sniper" is a reference to Crosshair (also from Issue #4).

Tolrick and Nero Angelo--As Dandy-Lion says regarding Drainomyte--there may be "grander plans" in mind.

kryshunter--Edward Lord thanks you for your kind words.

From what I'm reading, Lord makes Lex Luthor look like a rank amateur.
Tolrick at 11:08AM, Sept. 5, 2012
Nero -- My general opinion on that is that heroes will accept a certain level of 'attempting to kill you' from a villain as just part of the job, but if a villain ever really got serious about killing them, so would all the heroes regarding stopping that villain. With the sniper rifle, there were layers of deniability. Getting a bullet shaped piece doesn't seem too terribly difficult so a high end assassin could do it. The people with the tech to liquify and then weaponize a chunk of this stuff is much smaller. Heroes would work three times harder to find Lord then. Not good for the bottom line.
Nero Angelo at 9:46PM, Sept. 4, 2012
why didn't they ever take the underworld approach & liquify the weakness then shoot it into the hero? It's just as effective & MUCH harder to get out . . . unless you have a hemo-path

Ozmandious--Wonderful. Now that image will be in my mind every time I see "Drainomyte" in a script. Drain-o-miiite!

I'm sorry, I keep picturing Jimmy Walker as JJ shouting "Drainomyte!"

giovanni--From what he says, we can assume he's spent some time in Darmar and has been digging at this particular issue for some time. Although Dandy-Lion's a bit flippant with the info, it's safe to say this is information that took a lot of time and risk to life and limb to get.

wow, thats quite the information dandy-lion
