ACT: A Catastrophe Truly
apcomic on May 10, 2008
So I finished the comic early, and decided to post it. When I was planning this strip, I never planned for it to be 11 panels long. When i was drawing/writing it, though, I really liked the pacing and dramatic use of cutaways I could do by using more panels. Cutaway humor is something that I absolutely LOVE when done correctly (see early Family Guy and Scrubs), but hate when done poorly (see recent Family Guy), I hate it. I plan to use cutaways more since I now have more freedom with what I write, but they will be more focused on the plot, like those featured today. Anyway, Chris got a new puppy, so I’m going to go play with him. DJ
